Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, scalable REST and GraphQL APIs
- Model databases and write efficient queries
- Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways and AI APIs
- Write automated tests and maintain API documentation
- Monitor, debug and optimize production systems
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development with Node.js (Express/NestJS) or Python (Django/FastAPI)
- Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience with authentication, caching (Redis) and message queues
- Experience deploying to AWS, GCP or Docker-based environments
- Good understanding of security best practices
