From simple automation to autonomous AI agents
Not every task needs an AI agent. If a process follows the same rules every time — "when a form is submitted, create a CRM contact and send a welcome email" — a standard workflow is faster, cheaper and easier to maintain. AI earns its place when inputs are unstructured or decisions need judgement: reading a supplier's email, working out which department it belongs to, extracting the relevant figures and drafting a reply.
We follow a simple rule: automate deterministically where you can, add AI where you must, and keep a human in the loop where the stakes are high.
What our AI agents do
- Inbox triage: classify incoming emails, extract details, create tickets or orders and draft responses for review.
- Document processing: pull data from invoices, purchase orders, CVs, bank statements and contracts into your systems.
- Sales operations: enrich leads, update CRM records, prepare quotes and schedule follow-ups.
- Finance workflows: reconcile transactions, flag anomalies and prepare reports for approval.
- Research and reporting: gather information from internal data and the web, then compile structured summaries.
n8n, Zapier or a custom agent?
We're platform-neutral and recommend based on volume, complexity and data sensitivity:
- Zapier or Make suit quick, low-volume integrations between popular SaaS tools.
- n8n is ideal when you want visual workflows, built-in AI nodes and the option to self-host so data stays on your own servers.
- Custom agents built with frameworks such as LangGraph or the OpenAI and Claude agent SDKs are best for complex reasoning, high volumes, strict security or deep integration with proprietary systems.
Replacing brittle RPA
Traditional robotic process automation clicks through screens and breaks whenever a button moves. Where possible, we replace screen-scraping bots with direct API integrations and use AI to absorb the variation — different invoice layouts, free-text emails — that used to end up as manual exceptions. When a legacy system has no API, we use modern browser automation with AI-assisted recovery instead of fragile, coordinate-based scripts.
Safe by design
An agent that can act inside your systems needs firm boundaries. Ours run with least-privilege credentials, spending and volume limits, and mandatory approval for actions such as payments, deletions or external emails. Every step is logged so decisions can be audited, and our security team reviews integrations before go-live, including tests for prompt injection.
The language understanding behind each agent comes from our LLM development work, and customer-facing agents often start life as an AI chatbot. If you're still deciding where AI fits, our AI development services start with a discovery workshop.
Start with one process
The best first candidate is usually a high-volume, rules-heavy task that your team dislikes — data entry from emails or PDFs is a classic. Prove the value there, then expand.
